Holiday Camps for Children Aged 5-11
Terms & Conditions
Next Thing camps are hands-on STEM holiday camps where children aged 5-11 build, code, experiment and create. Think robots, game design, circuitry, engineering challenges and science missions — delivered as exciting school-holiday childcare, not classroom lessons.

7.3 We may refuse attendance where required medical information has not been disclosed.
7.4 In an emergency, you authorise us to seek appropriate medical treatment for your child.
8. ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
8.1 Nuts and Allergies
Whilst Next Thing Education Camps Ltd will do its best to maintain a nut-aware environment, we cannot guarantee that there will be no traces of nuts or other allergens present at any Activity, including those contained within snacks or packed lunches brought by participants.
If your child has any allergies, medical conditions or dietary requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure that these are fully disclosed during the booking process and brought to the attention of the Activity Leader on arrival.
The Company may require Parents/Carers/Guardians to provide either:
(a) written advice from a medical professional explaining the condition, allergy triggers and any required treatment; or
(b) a copy of the child’s current Health Care Plan, Individual Healthcare Plan, Risk Assessment or equivalent documentation from their school or healthcare provider.
For children with severe allergies, Parents/Carers/Guardians are responsible for providing all prescribed emergency medication, including Epipens where applicable. Such medication must be clearly labelled with the child’s name and handed directly to the Activity Leader at registration together with any required medication consent forms.
Where medication is required, Parents/Carers/Guardians must ensure all relevant medical information is accurate, up to date and provided before the Activity begins.
8.2 Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
It is our policy, wherever reasonably possible, not to exclude any child on the grounds of disability, special educational needs or additional support requirements.
As every child’s needs are different, decisions regarding attendance are made on a case-by-case basis to ensure that we can provide a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Parents/Carers/Guardians of children with special educational needs, disabilities, behavioural support requirements or additional needs must contact us before booking, or as soon as possible thereafter, to discuss their child’s requirements and any reasonable adjustments that may be necessary.
Whilst we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual needs, we reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking where we reasonably believe that we cannot safely provide the level of support required within the staffing ratios and resources available at the Activity.
Any information provided regarding a child’s needs will be treated confidentially and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. COLLECTION OF CHILDREN
9.1 Children must be collected promptly at the advertised finish time of the Activity unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
9.2 Parents/Carers/Guardians are responsible for ensuring suitable collection arrangements are in place.
9.3 If a child is collected more than 15 minutes after the published finish time, a late collection charge of £1 per minute per child may be applied to cover the additional staffing and supervision costs incurred.
9.4 Repeated late collection may result in future bookings being refused or cancelled where we reasonably believe that collection arrangements are unreliable.
9.5 If a child has not been collected within 45 minutes of the Activity ending and we have been unable to make contact with a Parent/Carer/Guardian or emergency contact, we reserve the right to contact the appropriate safeguarding authorities or Children’s Social Care in accordance with our safeguarding procedures.
9.6 Where a different person will be collecting a child, Parents/Carers/Guardians must notify us in advance and provide any information reasonably requested to verify collection arrangements.
10. BEHAVIOUR
10.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other children and property.
10.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others, or significantly disrupts an Activity.
10.3 No refund will be payable where a participant is excluded for behavioural reasons.
